Tip: Use "News and Goods"
Use "News and Goods" for starters. When you get together with a friend or friends in a group, begin with "What's something new and good for you since we last met? This evokes responses that are both fresh and positive and avoids downers like "Oh, same old, same old." I've used N&G with individuals, in small business meetings and even in classes of up to 40 students (with a small number of volunteers sharing.) During these days of discontent, it's helpful to "up the energy." Try "News and Goods." I think you'll like it.
